Position: Product Business Manager – Data Extraction Automation

Position Profile

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Product Business Manager to lead our Data Extraction Automation line of business. This business aims to transform complex data into specific output formats. The Product Business Manager’s role will include determining what clients want, helping us build the right product, and then supporting its selling (i.e., from concept to end of life). You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that deliver Consentia’s vision and strategy.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Understanding and representing client needs.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
  • Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses.
  • Defining a vision for this line of business including developing a strategy and a roadmap.
  • Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
  • Own the product roadmap
  • Execute product strategy
  • Work closely with automation teams to deliver quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Manage product profitability and commercial success – own the business case
  • Deliver regular (e.g. monthly) volume, revenue and profit forecasts
  • Provide product marketing with insights on key differentiators and messages
  • Be the recognized expert in the business on the product, the market, relevant technology and the competition
  • Perform product demos to customers and develop relationships with key clients
  • Set pricing
  • Develop and deliver training to technical sales support
  • Represent the voice of the customer in senior-level management meetings

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to senior management
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

  • Post-secondary degree in business management or equivalent or
  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or equivalent preferred

We are looking for a skilled and experienced on-site Help Desk Analyst who is looking to take the next step in their career and transition into a System Administration role. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT support and troubleshooting, along with a desire to expand their expertise in system administration tasks such as server management, network configuration, and infrastructure optimization.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Document processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements and enhancements.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve systems and processes continuously.
  • Implement security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access or breaches.

Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support role.
  • Ability to read, understand, and create basic scripting tasks (PowerShell, MS SQL, etc.) to resolve user issues, or to automate simple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Strong documentation skills (knowledge base, and trouble ticket).
  • Solid understanding of operating systems, networking protocols, and IT infrastructure components (MS Windows, DHCP, DNS, Switches, VLANs, Firewalls)
  • Proficiency in system administration tasks such as server management, network configuration, and troubleshooting.

This position will be responsible for interacting with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. The ideal candidate will implement, maintain, and optimize our ABBYY FlexiCapture solutions to enhance our document capture and data extraction processes.   • Strong programming/scripting skills (C#.NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript (Kendo, Knockout.Js, Angular 8), SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL), Python, Java, C/C++).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Previous experience in data extraction, manipulation and digitization services.
  • Previous experience in web development, automation, and agile development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Strong documentation skills
